VIDEO: Yankees' Clint Frazier Slams into Wall After Failing to Track Down Fly Ball Against Rangers
By Karl Rasmussen
Clint Frazier is back in the big leagues, rejoining his teammates in the Bronx. But his return to major league action wasn't quite as smooth as he'd hoped, particularly on the defensive end. In Monday's clash with the Rangers, Frazier was racing to the side to field a fly ball, and while trying to track it down, the young outfielder slammed into the wall in left field.
Not only did Frazier take a beating from the left field wall, but he wasn't able to come up with the catch.
Clearly shaken up, the Yankees' outfielder stumbled over to the ball and tossed it towards his cutoff man. Props to him for maintaining his hustle despite taking a nasty shot at the fence.
