VIDEO: Yankees Closer Aroldis Chapman Trolls Astros on His Instagram Story After Jose Altuve Drama
By Jerry Trotta
We're not entirely sure when current and former MLB players trolling the Houston Astros' demise following their deplorable sign-stealing scandal will grow stale, but we'll worry about that when the time comes. Yankees closer Aroldis Chapman was the latest big leaguer to join in on the fun with a hilarious post on his Instagram story.
We're just relieved that Chapman, considering how significantly he was victimized by the Astros antics, is able to laugh this off. His post is an accurate description of virtually every baseball fan outside of H-Town (and New England) this week.
The countless bombshells that have dropped this week must be intoxicating for Chapman, who, of course, conceded a walk-off home run to Jose Altuve in the 2019 ALCS that sent Houston to the World Series.
Altuve has since been accused of wearing an electronic buzzer underneath his jersey on that exact at-bat.
Whether those allegations are true or not remains to be seen, but Chapman enjoying the Astros' downfall is at least fitting.
