VIDEO: Yankees' Gleyber Torres Crushes 2-Run Shot for 14th Homer of the Year
By Sean Facey

Gleyber Torres doesn't believe in the sophomore slump. The second-year Yankees infielder slugged a two-run shot off of former Yankees reliever Adam Warren for his 14th home run of the season to bump New York's lead up to 7-0 in the seventh inning.

High, deep, and very gone. Torres seems determined to hand out as many souvenirs as he can this year.
That ball was no cheap shot, either. According to Statcast, it had a blistering exit velocity of 100.8 mph, traveling 393 feet.

The blast was New York's fourth home run of the game, with DJ LeMahieu, Luke Voit and Gio Urshela each going yard off Padres starter Chris Paddack.
