VIDEO: Yankees Shock A's With Huge Comeback Highlighted by Clutch Brett Gardner and Mike Ford Blasts
By Thomas Carannante

The Yankees win! THHHHEEEEE YANKEES WIN!! It was a wild afternoon in the Bronx after the day started out pretty dull. In a rubber match with the Oakland Athletics, New York was down 4-0 heading into the eighth after neither team scored a run through six. But then the bats came alive against the A's pen. A three-run eighth highlighted by Didi Gregorius' two-run single created an opportunity for Brett Gardner's game-tying blast in the ninth.

Goodbye baseball! That's two walk-off homers in as many days for the Yanks, who stand atop the MLB with the best record. And it just goes to show how tough they'll be to face come October.
