Yasiel Puig always manages to take a standard task or action and turn it into a bizarre scene. Whether it be licking his bat in the batters box or pimping the life out of a home run, Puig manages to grab headlines with his bizarre behavior. Well, in his latest crowd-pleasing antics, the Reds outfielder had a pretty intriguing way of running to second, after deciding mid-play to try and grab the extra base.

Puig channeled his inner-Jack Sparrow as he awkwardly booked it to second base. Johnny Depp would be proud of the slugger, who looked like he was being chased by an angry mob rather than hustling to second base.

Fortunately for Puig, he managed to beat the throw to second despite clearly lacking confidence in his decision.
