I guess, in this remarkable Yankees season, Brett Gardner drilling 25 homers ranks as, like, the 20th-most stunning breakout campaign of anyone on the roster. But after his second homer of Saturday afternoon, Aaron Judge and Austin Romine made it clear how much they appreciated his grown man strength. With Gardner's face buried in a towel, Judge started flexin' on 'em.

The man's muscled up to an unheard-of extent this season, in every method possible. Routine fly balls going for bombs, short-porch specials, right field lasers, and mammoth shots...Gardy's done it all.

Perhaps, it's all in the muscle, then, eh? He deserves the praise, when he's just matched a little-known Yankee named BABE RUTH.

We understand it can be demoralizing to give up dingers to the 36-year-old Gardner, but get used to it. He's simply another Yankee who can rake out of his shoes. Never disrespect the biceps.
