VIDEO: Yonny Chirinos' Giddy Reaction to Absolutely Painting the Corner is Infectious
By Sean Facey

We've all had those moments where we're just so pleased with our own work that we simply can't contain ourselves. It's human nature to take pride in your craft. That's certainly no different for Tampa Bay Rays pitcher Yonny Chirinos, who was downright giddy after dotting the black against Robbie Grossman with a ridiculous 95 mph sinker.

You just can't help but smile after watching him hop off the mound following the called third strike. Chirinos didn't want to rub the strikeout in with a cruel celebration, but he was clearly struggling to contain his excitement. He was like a kid on Christmas who finally got the toy he so desperately desired.
Chirinos has had quite a year for the Rays. He entered play on Wednesday with a 2.87 ERA in 13 appearances with a WHIP of just 0.899. It's easy to get excited when you're doing almost everything right like he is!
