Yordan Alvarez, welcome to the MLB postseason! While the rookie slugger has been on the Houston Astros' playoff roster, he found himself in a tremendous slump. What better way to break out of the rut than with a bomb in World Series Game 5? With the Washington Nationals using emergency starter Joe Ross, the Astros capitalized in the second inning. With Yuli Gurriel on base, Alvarez smashed a two-run homer to left-center field to give Houston the early 2-0 lead.

Better late than never for Yordan Alvarez, as he shows up when it mattered most and silenced Nationals Park on Sunday night.
