VIDEO: Yu Darvish Completely Implodes for Cubs by Giving up a Ton of Homers to the Giants
By Michael Luciano

Cubs starter Yu Darvish, who has struggled since signing a large contract with Chicago, has struggled since he started calling Wrigley Field home, with the home run ball and control issues being the two main killers. However, Darvish had been white hot of late, walking just two batters in his last 49 innings and posting a sub-3.00 ERA. All that momentum evaporated thanks to the San Francisco Giants, who teed off on him Wednesday night at Wrigley. Evan Longoria got the salvo started.

Longoria's 16th home run gave the Giants an early 2-0 lead.
Rookie sensation Mike Yastremzki followed suit with jack No. 17 in his debut season.

The Giants have since taken a 9-7 lead.
Darvish looked like the strikeout artist he was in Texas over the last few months, but the struggling Cub returned tonight against the Giants and couldn't keep the ball in the yard.
