VIDEO: Zion Williamson Accidentally Smacks Jaxson Hayes in Face While Celebrating on Sideline
By Jerry Trotta

New Orleans Pelicans rookie Zion Williamson is presently recovering from arthroscopic surgery he underwent to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee. He has since spent his time on the Pelicans bench celebrating the highlights of his teammates, and he was in full spirit for Thursday night's game against the Denver Nuggets. In one animated reaction, however, Williamson accidentally socked fellow rookie Jaxson Hayes right in the face.

Ouch.
Nola pulled off a a 122-107 upset win over the favored Nuggets, and it's fair to say that the Pels young core is nothing to be trifled with this season, if they live up to their billing.

That is, however, if Zion doesn't injure any of his teammates while celebrating from the sidelines. Get your rest, Young King. We can't have you using up all your energy for the rest of the season on backing down your own teammates.
That Hayes sell-job is priceless, though. Nicely done.
