VIDEO: Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s Jersey Suddenly Misspelled His Name and He Scored All the Goals
By Michael Luciano
We all know that LA Galaxy striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic could still be considered the best striker MLS at age 37, but this Zlatan Irbahimovic guy is giving him a run for his money. Despite taking the pitch against Toronto FC with a typo on his back, Zlatan netted a brace a 2-0 Galaxy win. His first goal, No. 12 on the year for Zlatan, came off of a sublime cross from 17-year-old midfielder Efrain Alvarez.
Ibra is 6-5, and he needed every inch to head that one home.
While his second goal was helped along by some shambolic defending on the part of Toronto, Zlatan remained composed and slotted away goal No. 13 and delivered the kill shot that won the game for LA.
While visions of DP blunders like Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, and Rafa Marquez might have haunted Galaxy and MLS fans alike, Zlatan's given the league everything he's got and has proven to be just as deadly as ever in America.
