Vikings bring back veteran OG Dalton Risner on new deal

While the Minnesota Vikings brought in J.J. McCarthy via the 2024 NFL Draft, plenty of Vikings fans have been worried about how the offensive line is going to look this season. A concern has included whether or not Dalton Risner would be back this fall.
Risner, a stud veteran, was receiving interest from the Dolphins and others. However, before a new team could jump in, the Vikings have reportedly come to terms on a new deal with Risner to keep him around. This is great news.

Last season, Risner appeared in 15 games and posted 11 starts. Prior to joining the Vikings in 2023, he spent the previous four years of his career in the AFC West with the Denver Broncos. Now, though, the 6-5, 310-pounder is ready for Year 2 in the NFC North with the Vikings.
