Vikings Chief Operating Officer Kevin Warren Reportedly Expected to Be Named Big Ten Commissioner

It seems as though the Minnesota Vikings should expect a significant departure from their front office.
The Vikings' Chief Operating Officer Kevin Warren has reportedly been selected as the man for the job as next Big Ten commissioner.
The 55-year-old Warren has held the position with the Vikings since 2015, when he became the highest-ranking African-American in the front office of any NFL team.
Warren also had experience with the then-St. Louis Rams from 1997 to 2001, and the Detroit Lions from 2001 to 2003. He's been with the Vikings organization since 2005.
Once he's officially named to the position, Warren will become the first African-American commissioner of a Power Five conference.
Jim Delany, the commissioner being replaced, announced in March that he planned to retire in 2020 after spending more than 30 years in the role. The upcoming season will be his final run with the conference before he retires in June of next year.
A press conference will be held to announce Warren as Delany's replacement on Tuesday, marking a momentous occasion for the future of the Big Ten.
