Vikings DE Hercules Mata'afa Claps Back at Saints' Michael Thomas for Throwing Shade at Minnesota From His Couch

The Minnesota Vikings fell to the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday one week after pulling off an upset over the New Orleans Saints.

Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas took the odd route of calling out the Vikings on Twitter throughout Saturday's game. Minnesota defensive end Hercules Mata'afa had no time for the disrespect.

Thomas was right in that the Vikings struggled on offense against the 49ers. But he was watching the game on his couch because his team couldn't even beat the Vikings in the first place.

Thomas seemed to be having fun with the whole situation, even if it was a bad look. All this does is continue to build the rivalry between the Vikings and the Saints. Yet both teams need to advance a bit deeper in the postseason for the trash talk to hold any weight.

At this point in time, Mata'afa joins Thomas as both will be watching the rest of the postseason from home.
