Vikings Home Stadium Named Best in NFL
By Sean Facey
The Minnesota Vikings opened up their new stadium just a few years ago in 2016, and it's since established itself as a top tier place to play and visit. Fans love it and rightfully so.
Well, just how great is it? US Bank Stadium has been named the best stadium in the NFL.
The Vikings' home turf stands out for a number of reasons, some of them odd, but most of them good. While the rather blocky exterior has turned some heads, the interior has drawn rave reviews.
Dan Garziano called the inside of the stadium a bastion of "gleaming, sunny, modern perfection."
The venue has already hosted a Super Bowl and bore witness to one of the most exciting plays in recent history in Stefon Diggs' "Minneapolis Miracle." Couple that with the means for fan engagement such as the famous Gjallarhorn and you've got a recipe for the best stadium in the league.
Everything about it is conducive to a fun and enjoyable atmosphere. It's modern, it houses a historic team and a rabid fanbase is in attendance for games eight times every regular season. You can't ask for much more than that.
Hopefully the Vikings can make their way back to the playoffs this year, so it can provide football fans everywhere with some more memorable playoff moments like the ones it's produced since it opened.
