Browns Insider Shoots Down Odell Beckham Trade Rumors and Minnesota Fans Should Be Sad
By Michael Luciano

WFAN ignited a firestorm this morning when they postulated that the Cleveland Browns could be willing to move off of wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and his $90 million contract by trading him to the Minnesota Vikings for second and fifth-round pick, which is an extremely discounted price for a receiver of his caliber.
Unfortunately for Vikings fans, Browns reporter Mary Kay Cabot confirmed with a source close to the Vikings that the rumor stating Minnesota is trading for Odell at that price is "false."
Received a one-word answer from a source close to the #Vikings about the report they're talking to the #Browns about trading for Odell Beckham Jr. for a 2nd & 5th next year: "False"

Even after a down year, that is a move Minnesota needs to make, if Beckham is available.
While Beckham crossed 1,000 yards last season, he found the end zone just four times, and his 64.7 yards per game average was the lowest total of his career.
The Browns have Jarvis Landry and enough draft picks to fill up on wide receivers in this deep class, so they could shoulder the loss of Beckham via trade if they pulled the trigger.
Odell Beckham has played in 75 career games.

Most Receiving Yards in NFL history, first 75 games of career--
1. Julio Jones (7,306 yds)
2. Odell Beckham (6,511 yds)
3. Torry Holt (6,373 yds)
4. Jerry Rice (6,263 yds)
5. Randy Moss (6,252 yds)
Beckham went from one of the most exciting wide receivers in the league to potentially moving to his third team in three seasons. Unfortunately for Vikings fans, they either need to put their Odell dreams to bed or insist Rick Spielman increase his offer to Cleveland.
