VIDEO: Stefon Diggs Literally Scared the Crap Out of Kirk Cousins on Sideline After Celebrating TD
By Jerry Trotta
The Minnesota Vikings mustered one of the most impressive comebacks in NFL history on Sunday against the Denver Broncos, becoming the first team in 100 tries to win a game in which they were trailing by 20 or more at halftime. Star wideout Stefon Diggs played a pivotal role in Minny's revival, as he torched Chris Harris for a 54-yard touchdown early in the fourth quarter to bring the Vikings within three points. After cutting into the deficit, Diggs was exuberant on the sidelines and managed to scare the living daylights out of Kirk Cousins, who was busy reviewing film from the drive.
While the flinch was hysterical in and of itself, the only thing missing from this masterpiece was Cousins unleashing a yelp.
Diggs was reportedly peeved at Cousins for checking down to his underneath targets for the majority of the first half, but his quarterback more than made up for his shortcomings with that deep strike.
Speaking to reporters after the game, the Maryland product even gave Cousins credit for administering the massive come-from-behind victory.
When all was said and done, Diggs got the last laugh, and in more ways than one.
