Vikings were reportedly hoping to draft Justin Fields
By Braulio Perez

Oh, how things could have been so different for Justin Fields. The former Ohio State signal-caller is the new franchise signal-caller for the Chicago Bears, but it looks like he very well could have ended up suiting up for a different NFC North squad.
Per a report, the Minnesota Vikings were eyeing Fields and thought he'd end up falling to them. That of course didn't happen, as Chicago traded up to pick the stud at No. 11 overall.

Minnesota was hoping Fields would be the long-term answer at QB, ready to take over for the aging Kirk Cousins. Instead, Fields will be playing for the Bears and likely take over the offense from Andy Dalton sooner than later.
