The first family of the Minnesota Vikings has put a significant stamp on the side of good during the coronavirus crisis.

Following a $1 million contribution to the United Way this week, the Wilf family has officially surpassed $5 million in total donations to the first responders and forces of good on the front lines, tackling this pandemic head on.

The United Way is one of six NFL-approved recommended fundraising destinations, per the league's 2020 Draft-a-Thon fundraising campaign.

Thus far, the team's $5 million in contributions (and counting!) has been spread globally, arriving in New York, New Jersey, Minnesota, and Israel, to help fund Jewish philanthropic causes.

As owner/chairman Zygi Wilf told Vikings.com, "There are extraordinary individuals and organizations who are courageously working together to navigate COVID-19. We are focused on trying to provide as many resources as possible to meet their needs and assist some of the most vulnerable populations during this unprecedented time."

While the NFL hopes to resume some degree of normalcy this week by holding the draft as scheduled, most are well aware the world will look plenty cautious for quite a while. The Wilf family has certainly made sure the Minnesota Vikings name remains at the forefront of giving during this strenuous period.
