Baseball fans continue to wait with great anticipation as MLB commissioner Rob Manfred and the players union look to get the 2020 regular season started as soon as humanly possible. Other than updates regarding that campaign, the well of baseball news has dried up amid the coronavirus crisis. That new reality is exactly what makes this Vin Scully narration of renovations at Dodger Stadium so priceless.

The fact that Scully was able to make a renovation video this captivating says everything about his status as a broadcasting legend.
As the 92-year-old Hall of Famer notes in soothing fashion, construction crews are making incredible progress in the plaza behind the outfield seats. The bleacher seats in the right and left field pavilions are also complete.
The Dodgers are committing approximately $100 million to the project. It will include entertainment centers and restaurants. Most importantly, however, is the installment of new escalators that will allow fans to walk around the stadium at all levels of seating.

Dodgers fans will be relieved to know that these upgrades could be complete by the time they are allowed to attend games again.
