Vince Carter to Reportedly Re-Sign With Hawks
By Michael Luciano

At the age of 42, Vince Carter is giving Father Time the middle finger as he prepares for the grind of yet another NBA season. While there were some rumblings that he would re-sign with the Toronto Raptors and end his career where it began, Vinsanity is staying down south and re-upping with Hawks.
Carter will sign a one-year deal with Atlanta, where he'll play his 22nd and final season.

Carter is a far cry from the phenomenon that gripped both America and Canada when he debuted, but he can still get buckets at the NBA level. Carter averaged 7.4 points and 2.6 rebounds in a reserve role last season.
Carter's presence has been invaluable for Young and the rest of this inexperienced Hawks team, which has gravitated to Carter and his sage wisdom.

Only four players older than Carter have played in an NBA game. His uncommon longevity is as much a part of his legacy as his gravity-defying dunks.
