The Toronto Blue Jays know they have the real deal in third baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. The son of Baseball Hall of Fame slugger Vladimir Guerrero has as much, if not more pop to his swing than his legendary father. It's a sight to behold when Vladdy Jr. steps into the plate, even if it's just for a quick round of BP. Just ask his teammates, they can attest.

Pitch after pitch, Guerrero Jr. is able to rile up his teammates with that effortless swing and stunning crack of the bat. As soon as he makes contact with the ball, they shower him with encouragement and compliments because they know his rips are bound to clear the outfield fence.

In 123 games played in his rookie season last year, Vladdy Jr. totaled 15 home runs while slashing a .272 average at the plate. Joined by a youth core of Bo Bichette and Cavan Biggio, Guerrero Jr. and the future of Toronto's offense will be a problem for opposing pitching staffs for years to come.

At just 20 years old, Vlad Jr. is primed to take a big step in his first full MLB season. Before long, Toronto may be in position to convert him to a DH full-time.
