VIDEO: Blue Jays Star Vlad Guerrero Jr. Smashes Laser Home Run vs Pirates
By Sean Facey
Toronto Blue Jays star Vladimir Guerrero Jr. looks like he's getting back into the swing of things. After starting off Spring Training with some rather pedestrian numbers, the 20-year-old third baseman ripped an absolute bullet of a home run against Joe Musgrove of the Pittsburgh Pirates to give him his first round-tripper of the year.
There's just something about his home runs that feels special. The sound of the ball off of his bat is different in the best possible way.
Last year, he managed a rather modest 15 home runs and .772 OPS across 514 plate appearances, but if he enters the season hitting the ball like this, then pitchers across the league should be extremely careful when dealing with him.
