The 3-8 Broncos might be better off losing this game to ensure they receive a top pick in the upcoming NFL Draft. Still, fans would likely prefer to see their star edge rusher suited up and out on the field Sunday.
His absence will snap his 95-game playing streak.
Was told Von Miller wanted to go, but with team at 3-8, best long-term decision was to not play. 95-game playing streak will end. Not considered a surgical injury. But he was limping early in week. It’s sore. #9sports https://t.co/ZU25qlKCqL

It's nice to hear that an elite player like Miller still wants to be out there with his teammates despite being banged up and virtually having no shot at the playoffs. This is why he is a beloved figure in Denver.
The Broncos would be wise to be extra careful with the Super Bowl 50 MVP. Just keep him fresh and ready for next year
