The Golden State Warriors have been the talk of NBA free agency with both Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant becoming free agents. No one knew if the pair would stay in Golden State, and after Durant agreed to a deal with the Nets, Thompson's max contract with the Dubs finally became official.
The two sides finally agreed to a five-year, $190 million max contract.

Thompson has been very vocal about wanting to stay with the Warriors and he now got his wish being offered the max. The former first-round pick is coming off a season where he averaged 21.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists.
Klay is also one of the best deep shooters in the league, averaging 41.9% from 3-point range for his career.

Though the signing is great for the Warriors since the Splash Brothers will remain a duo, Thompson is set to miss most of next year with a torn ACL which he suffered in Game 6 of the NBA Finals against Toronto.
Whatever the case, Warriors fans are hoping four of these years will be fully healthy so they can make a run at yet another title.
