VIDEO: Warriors-Cavs 2016 Christmas Game Was Perfect Example of Rivalry's Magic

Wednesday's Christmas slate includes some spectacular games between conference rivals, such as Clippers vs. Lakers and Bucks vs. 76ers. Yet, few compare to the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers matchups of recent years, especially in 2016.

The game was among the best of that season, and most remembered for Kyrie Irving's incredible fadeaway shot over Klay Thompson for the win. Kyrie nailed the difficult jumper over one of the best defenders in the league who had a solid four inches on him.

The trading buckets between LeBron James and Kevin Durant also made for a legendary sequence. The back and forth nature of those 30 seconds made every NBA fan jump for joy.

While we may not see a game with that much intensity for quite some time, Lakers-Clippers could offer the same sort of intensity, with James facing off against Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, while Anthony Davis tries to dominate the paint at Staples Center.
