Warriors Center Kevon Looney Reportedly Out Indefinitely and Klay Thompson Questionable for Game 3
By Brendan Azoff

The injury news for the Warriors just keeps on getting worse, as what was believed to be a sprained collarbone for Kevon Looney in Game 2 against the Raptors has been upgraded to a broken collarbone, per Adrian Wojnarowski.
Further detail on Looney injury, per sources: non-displaced first costal cartilage fracture. There could be more evaluation, but there isn't great optimism on a return this season. DeMarcus Cousins' emergence in Game 2 looms even bigger for the Warriors. https://t.co/acW7PnWQzm

With at most five games left this season, it appears that Looney's season is over. The injury means that DeMarcus Cousins will likely see an increase in his workload despite his recent return from a quad injury.
Woj does point out that further evaluation could prove that Looney's season may not be over, but the odds of that at this point are very slim. Looney has averaged 7.2 points and 4.6 rebounds in 20.3 minutes per game, helping the Warriors to withstand the Cousins injury and get back to the Finals.

Now it is Cousins turn to step up and prove that despite his injury shortened regular season and postseason that he can be the productive player that everyone watched with the Kings and Pelicans. Along with Looney, Klay Thompson is also questionable for Game 3 in Golden State.

Klay's prognosis is significantly better than Looney's. Steve Kerr even admitted that it'll be tough to keep Thompson off the floor regardless of what team doctors say. For the Dubs sake, we hope he plays.
