Not all of the Warriors' free agents are returning to The Bay, but they were dead set on ensuring that one particular big man didn't get away.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported Monday evening that the Golden State Warriors are re-signing center Kevon Looney to a three-year deal worth $15 million.

Looney, primarily the team's backup center last year, averaged 6.3 points and 5.2 rebounds in 18.5 minutes per game last season for Golden State.

The 22-year old took on a larger role with the team early in the playoffs after DeMarcus Cousins went down with an injury. Coach Steve Kerr went as far as to say Looney was one of their most important players, hinting towards a probable re-signing of the big man this offseason.

Looney joins a Warriors team trying to put the pieces back together after a sign-and-trade deal that sent Kevin Durant to Brooklyn and brought D'Angelo Russell to Golden State. The team also had to trade key veteran wing Andre Iguodala to make room for Russell, who reports say is expected to be moved from Memphis eventually.

With Klay Thompson's injury and Durant's departure, Looney provides some stability for the Warriors in a time of chaos, as the team starts to take shape in the first season post-Durant.
