Coronavirus anxiety has the sports world and put fans and athletes alike on thir toes, and a sickness that's now befallen Golden State Warriors superstar point guard Steph Curry immediately caused the whole Bay Area to throw up their collective hands in panic.

While Curry has been ruled out for an undetermined length due to the flu, the Warriors team physician, Dr. Robert Nied, claimed that he is not showing any of the risk factors associating with the COVID-19 virus.

Does Steph Curry Have Coronavirus?

Let's be clear: No.

There have been more than 100 confirmed cases of coronavirus in California, including the first several confirmed cases in the Bay Area. Luckily, Steph shows "no specific risk factors" that would lead to a diagnosis.

Curry had missed all except a handful of games this season after breaking his hand earlier in the season. In his return, Steph put up 23 points and seven assists in a game against the Toronto Raptors.

Curry just worked his way back from a problematic wrist injury, but he appears to be back to square one after his flu bug. Luckily, Curry isn't a victim of the COVID-19 scare that has spread around the world.
