VIDEO: Steph Curry Says He Needs Second Surgery on Hand But Will Return This Season
By Chris Pyo
Fear not, Warriors fans. Even if the Dubs end up at the bottom of the Western Conference this season, they'll still have about a month or two with Stephen Curry back in the lineup. According to Curry, while he'll need a second surgery on his hand in December, he's still planning on returning sometime after the All-Star break.
Curry broke his left hand on Oct. 30 against Phoenix, when Suns center Aron Baynes fell on him. It was originally announced that Curry would miss three months, before a bombshell was dropped reporting that he would miss the rest of the season.
However, Curry and the Warriors quickly dispelled those rumors, stating that he's still looking to play this season, even if it already looks like a lost cause.
While the Warriors probably won't be in playoff contention, barring some sort of heroic scenario where D'Angelo Russell and Draymond Green get Golden State back on track before Curry's return, it'll still be nice for Dubs fans to watch them all play together heading into what could be an exciting 2020 season by the Bay.
