And thanks to one freak injury, the 2019 season for the New Orleans Saints could suddenly hang on a knife edge. Drew Brees was forced to leave Sunday's Week 2 game against the Los Angeles Rams after his thumb collided with the right hand of a charging Aaron Donald. Teddy Bridgewater has come into the game to replace him. He has officially been designated questionable to return.

As effective and accurate as Bridgewater can be, he's no Brees. The former MVP being anything less than 100% healthy could be a death knell for the Saints, who entered the season liking their chances to take a trip to the Super Bowl.
