New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge's latest injury that has prevented him from performing at Yankees Spring Training is a fractured rib that dates back to September of last season. And based on some careful sleuthing, It seems quite likely that Judge injuries himself after failing to make a diving catch on this Albert Pujols bloop single during a home game against the Los Angeles Angels.

Judge sat out the next day and they just found the rib fracture NOW? pic.twitter.com/zxXJuNXs2v
Judge came up in pain, but played again after sitting out just one game. While he did play the rest of the regular season and playoffs with his busted rib, the injury was much more serious than anyone on the recently replaced medical staff indicated it would be. Their incompetence from 2019 has now spilled over into the start of 2020.
Aaron Judge has a stress fracture in a rib. Yankees are going to try two weeks of rest but surgery is not off the table.

The 2019 medical staff was so in over their heads that they though one day of rest was an appropriate treatment for what turned out to be a broken rib. We're not doctors over here, but holding your side while grimacing might be an indication of something more serious than a bruise that will heal in a day or two.
