White Sox Release Lineup for Spring Training Opener vs Angels Amid Threat of Rain
By Adam Weinrib

Though we're trying to be optimistic, such things can be difficult when there's a significant threat of rain wiping out your Spring Training opener.
Regardless, though, White Sox fans can seek comfort in this batting order, which will take the field and mash on Saturday afternoon, if the weather decides to bless us by holding off.

Luis Robert in the leadoff spot should be enough to get any diehard excited, but the lineup doesn't quit there, featuring batting champ Tim Anderson, re-signed mentor Jose Abreu, trade acquisition Nomar Mazara, and Eloy Jimenez in the five-hole.
Unfortunately, the current status of the field in Arizona is less promising than the batting order.

Sox fans have high hopes for the 2020 campaign, and it might all start on Saturday. If not, however, don't let that dampen your expectations; soon enough, this series of young studs will be mashing at a ballpark near you.
