The Chicago White Sox took care of business early in the offseason. They jumped on free agent signings early, acquiring the likes of Yasmani Grandal and Dallas Keuchel.
But on Friday, they announced rather bizarre new signing. For some odd reason, the team's official Twitter account reported the team had "acquired tacos, as well as chips and guacamole, in exchange for cash considerations."

That's quite the announcement, especially considering spring training is drawing ever closer.
With multiple superstars reported to be available for trade, it might not be the best time for the White Sox to tease a big acquisition and then announce they've signed... tacos.
#BREAKING: The Colorado #Rockies have agreed to trade star infielder Nolan Arenado to the Chicago #WhiteSox, according to multiple sources.

Arenado has a full no trade clause, and has 24 hours to decide if he'll waive it to play for Chicago. No decision was made yet, I'm told.
Given the fact that there were inklings, albeit unconfirmed ones, about the team trading for Nolan Arenado, this tweet could very well have taken fans for a ride.
But hey, sometimes an order of tacos is just too good not to talk about. It might not be the most noteworthy acquisition they've made, but it's probably safe to say it's the most delicious, and that at least counts for something.
