White Sox Lineup

Leury García is leading off for the ChiSox, with Tim Anderson and Jose Abreu up second and third respectively. In the cleanup spot Wednesday is backstop James McCann, batting ahead of the red-hot Eloy Jiménez and Yoan Moncada. Ryan Cordell, Yolmer Sánchez and Lucas Giolito round out the order.

White Sox right-hander Giolito has been one of the best starters in the American League this season, owning a 10-1 record with a 2.22 ERA and 95 strikeouts over 81 innings. He's been even better recently, posting a 7-0 record with a 1.08 ERA over his last seven starts.

Cubs Lineup

The Cubs are sticking with their usual starting bunch in the order, as Kyle Schwarber, Kris Bryant and Anthony Rizzo will start things off. Javy Báez is in his standard cleanup spot, followed by Willson Contreras, Jason Heyward and David Bote. Jon Lester will bat eighth, followed by Albert Almora Jr.

It's been a weird season for Lester. Across 13 starts, the southpaw owns a 5-5 record with a 4.08 ERA. After going seven innings and allowing just one run against the Angels earlier in the month, Lester has given up a combined 10 earned runs over his last two starts against the Cardinals and Dodgers. He started the year off on fire, but has since been downright dreadful. He's hopeful he can turn the corner against the White Sox tonight.
