The Red Sox (44-37) have taken the first two games against the White Sox (36-41) and are going for the sweep Wednesday when they send former White Sox ace Chris Sale to the mound to take on Reynaldo Lopez.

White Sox Lineup
After leaving Tuesday's game with an ankle injury, Tim Anderson is out of the lineup in the series finale. All Star finalist James McCann (.326 average, seven home runs) and first baseman Jose Abreu (.255 average, 18 home runs) will look to shoulder the load against Chris Sale.

On the mound will be Reynaldo Lopez, who has a 6.23 ERA and a record of 4-7 this season. The righty will have a tough task ahead, as he looks to out-duel Sale.

The Red Sox put out their usual dangerous lineup, with Mookie Betts (.265 average, 13 home runs) leading off and J.D. Martinez (.285 average, 16 home runs) batting fourth.
Chris Sale will take the hill for the Sox, who would like to sweep and keep pace with the Yankees. Sale is 3-7 with a 3.59 ERA this year, but 2-1 with a 2.84 ERA against his former team.
