Why Did Ed Orgeron Allow Odell Beckham Jr. to Be Around LSU on the Night of the National Title Game?

Come on, Coach O. You're better than this, and certainly have the organizational pull at this point to make executive decisions. So why in the WORLD did you sign off on allowing Odell Beckham Jr. to be around your LSU Tigers before and after the national championship game Monday night??

These are college kids trying to stay focused for the biggest game of their lives. Their performance in front of the entire country will likely play a huge role in determining their fate in the NFL Draft, which could decide a difference of millions of dollars. At the VERY least, you want them to avoid controversy on the national stage, but thanks to OBJ, that couldn't even happen.

LSU is now investigating this strange moment after initially suggesting that the money in question could have been fake. Who knows how it'll end, but it's unfair these kids have this hanging over their heads.

Of course, this is vintage OBJ. He cannot exist in space without being the center of attention, whether that means handing out thousands of dollars to college students or trying to decapitate Josh Norman in the middle of a football game.

Did you think Beckham was done there? Ha! Let's check in on the postgame.

WHY are you talking, dude? Ed Orgeron is talking to his UNDEFEATED NATIONAL CHAMPIONS, and you're yapping in the corner. You have no real relationship with these players. You're a guest in their locker room. Your college days ended six years ago. Interrupting the man who has worked his way up the ranks to finally achieve college football glory is beyond disrespectful, especially since you, once again, had nothing of substance to say.

But OBJ one-upped that, folks! He spanked a cop!

What goes through this guy's mind on a daily basis? It's truly baffling and he continues to prove time and time again that there's really no place for him in the spotlight ... unless that place is front and center in a production entitled "Eternal Embarrassment."

And guess what!? Now there's an ARREST WARRANT out for Beckham for spanking the police officer.

Coach O is one of the most respectable and down-to-earth coaches in all of college football, but he was too nice in allowing Odell Beckham to partake in LSU's festivities. Whoever made this decision, Orgeron should've overruled it, and hopefully he knows for next time.
