The sad saga of Josh Gordon continued with the news that the receiver is facing yet another substance-related suspension. It is unfortunate for both sides, but the NFL is a business and the Seahawks have to continue focusing on winning. That means adding another wideout, and a few options stand out before Week 16.

Gordon presented a big-bodied threat on the outside. Josh Doctson has had his injury issues, but stands 6-4 and should be good to go after coming off IR earlier this season. He had first-round talent coming out of college and a pairing with Russell Wilson could turn his career around. 34 career games is too small a sample size to rule out a potential successful comeback in Seattle.

2. Michael Crabtree

Remember Crabtree? He signed a three-year deal with the Ravens in 2018, only to be released after the season. A short stint in Arizona didn't pan out and he has had months to get to full strength. He played in all 16 games in 2018 and had 607 receiving yards. The Seahawks could use Crabtree's veteran presence, and he'd be trusted right away in the offense.

1. Dez Bryant

Dez Bryant is only 31 years old. He did tear his achilles tendon in 2018, but proper training in 2019 should have him ready to be in NFL shape. All the time off should ensure he is among the healthiest available players, and Bryant is another veteran who doesn't need much help learning an offense. The key is a proper workout to test his legs.
