Widow of Man Who Was Found Dead in SunTrust Park Freezer Sues Braves
By Parker White

A year ago to the day, a beer tap inventor, Todd Keeling, was found dead inside a walk-in freezer at SunTrust Park, the home of the Atlanta Braves.
The widow of the private contractor, Angela Keeling, is alleging that her husband died because of a faulty door mechanism and lethal carbon dioxide leaks, leading to her filing a wrongful death lawsuit against the team.

The lawsuit states that a colorless and odorless carbon dioxide filled the cooler, and because the interior door mechanism failed to work, he was unable to exit the freezer and ended up being trapped and ultimately passing away.

The lawsuit also states that the Braves knew about carbon dioxide leaks in the coolers, and in Cooler 331 where Todd Keeling died, there wasn't a functioning carbon dioxide monitor or alarm.
Braves spokeswomen Beth Marshall declined to release a statement "due to ongoing litigation." Regardless, this situation doesn't sound like it'll end quietly.
