VIDEO: Wizards Star Bradley Beal Reveals Cop Once Pulled Him Over and Threatened Him for No Reason
By Tyler Kemp

Bradley Beal has been a lone bright spot for the Wizards throughout the 2019-20 NBA season. With the league on hiatus and protests surrounding the death of George Floyd still taking place, Beal has taken time to speak his truth about his experience with race and racism in representing the organization admirably off the court. And he made some chilling revelations on Friday by going into detail for DC’s CBS affiliate about a time he was once pulled over on the highway.

Here's yet another pertinent example of the black community letting us know that nobody is safe from such discrimination. Luckily, Beal rose above the officer's provoking actions and went about his day.
While he got out of the situation unscathed, the scars from the experience still exist, so you can imagine why he's out in the streets of the nation’s capital looking to make a difference for the future.

The Wizards’ backcourt has done plenty to entertain fans during their All-Star careers, and they've been nothing short of sensational when it comes to giving back to the community that they've made home for so long. With Beal’s testimony and his work in the streets alongside Wall, DC basketball is in good hands for representing the mantra of being more than an athlete.
