By Michael Luciano

The worlds of wrestling, sports, and entertainment are all in mourning tonight, as one of the legends of the 1970 has passed away.
Rocky Johnson, who is the father of former WWE superstar and box office star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, has passed away at the age of 75.
What horrible news, Rocky Johnson passed away, Dwayne's father. Our best to Dwayne, Ricky, Ata and the entire family.

Johnson, born Wayde Douglas Bowles, is in the WWE Hall of Fame, and was one of the sport's great trailblazers. Along with Tony Atlas, Johnson was part of the first ever WFF tag team champions that were black. He certainly passed his status in the sport on to his son.
Oh, and his son happened to be one of the greatest spectacles the wrestling world has ever seen and one of the most popular actors in the world. Not a bad legacy to leave behind.
Terrible news breaking tonight. WWE Hall of Famer Rocky Johnson, father of @TheRock, has sadly passed away, aged 75.

Johnson is a legend in the wrestling business, and he's more than just "Dwayne's father." Our condolences to The Rock and his family at this time.
