Wrestling Legend 'The Iron Sheik' Puts Lame Knicks in Their Place With Perfect All-Caps Tweet
By Brendan Azoff
The Iron Sheik is not here for the Knicks fans complaints about the teams lack of success in the free agent market, as he knows who the one, true legend of Madison Square Garden really is.
The Knicks could not seal the deal and have not appeared in a championship game at the Garden in 56 years. The same cannot be said for the Iron Sheik, as he wrestled Hulk Hogan for the WWF Championship in 1984.
Despite losing the match, the Iron Sheik knows that he has had more success at MSG than the Knicks and he took to Twitter to let everyone know about it. Obviously Knicks fans are distressed right now, and Sheik is just messing around, but the sad thing is that his attempt at comedy is actually accurate.
The all-caps reply to a Stephen A. Smith tweet gets the message through loud and clear. Thanks to the Sheik for sharing the prominent struggles of the Knicks and their ineptitude that has led them to be the biggest flops of free agency.
