Writer Who Got Shut Down by Jeff Okudah for NFL Combine Question Literally Resigns Over Supposed Lack of Respect
By Mark Powell

Jeff Okudah responded perfectly to a writer who questioned his technique as a defensive back in what's since been dubbed an unnecessary and ill-informed question.
Since then, the man who asked that question is evidently calling it quits, citing the harsh criticism he's received since going out on a limb at the NFL Combine.

As someone who does this for a living, you're responsible for what you write, or in this case ask. The best athletes in the world aren't immune to criticism, either, but you best have facts to back up an invasive line of questioning. In Okudah's case, he was somehow ready for the most ludicrous ask of them all, and rightfully put this guy on blast in the most respectful way possible.

While our goal is never to shame someone out of the business entirely, having thick skin is a must. By definition, most of us our non-athletes, judging every move of these modern marvels. Considering their missteps in the public eye are immortalized, isn't it fair for us to take some heat every now and then for our mistakes?
