Wyatt Langford robs Giancarlo Stanton of 3-run HR to seal Rangers win
What a play by the LF!
This is the kind of play that's going to be celebrated for a while. On Wednesday night, the Texas Rangers and New York Yankees were in action, with the home team up 10-6 in the top of the ninth inning.
With two runners on, Giancarlo Stanton ripped a ball and it had 3-run jack written all over it. Instead, left fielder Wyatt Langford rose high into the sky and somehow was able to come down with an unreal grab. Take a look for yourself:
It's been an unreal back-to-back wins for Langford and the Rangers. The night before he robbed Stanton of his dinger, Langford walked things off in Grand Slam style. While his homer was the better play, this robbery of Stanton was pretty epic as well.
