Xavier McKinney not expected to return this weekend for the Giants

The return for New York Giants safety Xavier McKinney is getting closer, but unfortunately for head coach Brian Daboll and the defense, that return won't be coming on Sunday. McKinney is still recovering from his serious injury suffered during an ATV accident.

McKinney has been able to make some positive improvements, but he's not going to be ready to rock for the Week 14 showing.

The Giants defense has really missed both McKinney and Adoree' Jackson in recent weeks. The sooner these two studs can get back on the field, the better life will be for DC Wink Martindale. We'll see if the two can suit up next Sunday night vs. the Commanders.
