Yankees' Didi Gregorius and Giancarlo Stanton Getting First Game Action Since Suffering Injuries
By Parker White

New York Yankees shortstop Didi Gregorius underwent Tommy John surgery back in October, and he's on track to return to the team sometime in the next month or so.
On Monday, he played in his first piece of game action in an extended spring training game, playing five defensive innings while going 2-for-4 with a walk.

If he doesn't suffer a setback, Gregorius should be playing in a minor league rehab game in about a week or two before joining the big league team sometime in June.
The Yankees had some other good news on the injury front, as Giancarlo Stanton is scheduled to start in right field and bat second tonight for Single-A Tampa.

Stanton has not played since March 31 after suffering a strained left biceps and strained left shoulder. The Yankee slugger has played in only three games this season, going 2-for-8 with seven walks and four strikeouts.
With these guys on the mend and this current Yankees team in first place, the Bronx Bombers are about to get stronger at the right time.
