New York Yankees starter Domingo German was one of three people involved in a car accident back in the Domincan Republic. While the Yankees starter asserts he was unharmed, he claims he's more worried about the health of his girlfriend, who was riding alongside him.

Here's what he had to say when asked about the incident:

There's still some ambiguity in regards to what went down. While original reports claimed German was involved in an accident along with two other people, representatives for German said he was not in the car and was on the scene to assist a friend who was in the wreck. A third report stated German was in the car, but was not harmed.

Nonetheless, this is an especially bad look for the right-hander. German broke out last season, as he went 18-4 with a 4.03 ERA in his first campaign as a full-time starter, but his violation of the league's domestic violence policy hit him with a 63-game suspension in 2020, meaning we won't see him until June comes along.

Hopefully for all parties involved, there were no serious injuries and this can be put in the rearview rather quickly.
