Yankees' Double-A Team is About to Have Ridiculously Unfair Roster for Playoff Series
By Michael Luciano

It's a good day to be a Trenton Thunder fan.
The Yankees' Double-A affiliate is getting some much-needed reinforcements for the Eastern League Division Series. Several key rehabbing Yankees will make appearances for the Thunder, including ace reliever Dellin Betances, as well as starters Luis Severino and Jordan Montgomery (who will take Game 1). Infielder Thairo Estrada, who has hit .246 with three home runs at the MLB level this year, will also join Trenton.
lol Trenton gets Severino, Dellin, Montgomery, and Thairo for their postseason series. https://t.co/fXZKkCf3BM

The Thunder are one of the most successful teams in all of Double-A baseball, having won three Eastern League titles in the last 12 years and seven division titles, including three in a row, in that same span.
Their quest for title No. 4 is going to be remarkably easier now that they have triple-digit heat from Severino and Betances ready to go whenever they need it.
Trenton might have more major leaguers on their roster than the Orioles this weekend ??

The Reading Fightin' Phils, the Double-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, better get prepared for a series unlike any other, as a good chunk of the Thunder will consist of rehabbing major league stars.
