Gerrit Cole might be the ace of the New York Yankees rotation after signing a nine-year, $324 million contract in the offseason, but he isn't the only member of the Cole household that can handle themselves on the mound. With Cole back at home during the MLB shutdown, he decided to pass the time by playing catch with his wife Amy, who showed off a surprisingly strong arm when pitching to her husband.
Amy might throw harder than Chasen Shreve ever did.
The former star softball player at UCLA played in the Women's College World Series, so she's got more than enough experience on the diamond. She's also got baseball in her DNA -- in case you didn't know, she's the sister of San Francisco Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford!
