Yankees' Gio Urshela Left Wednesday's Game With Groin Tightness
By Kevin Aquino

New York Yankees third basemen Gio Urshela left Wednesday's game against the Seattle Mariners, but the reason wasn't disclosed until after the team's victory.
Urshela is dealing with groin tightness.

Luckily the Yankees' depth got the job done in their 7-3 win over the M's.
Urshela has 18 home runs and is batting .330 on the season, which is fifth in the entire MLB, so the loss of his bat on offense won't exactly be easily replaceable. The good news is that he expects to be back on the field Friday, though at the same time it might be smart to give him an extra day of rest.

Urshela had an injury scare against the Red Sox earlier this month after taking foul balls off each knee, though the fan-favorite stayed in the game and fought through the pain.
With the home stretch already here, it might be best for the Yankees to give Urshela as much time as he needs in order to ensure the team is fully healthy for the playoffs.
